Alliance Healthcare UK announced on Friday 31 March that Julian Mount had been appointed as managing director with immediate effect following Jeremy Main’s retirement.

Jeremy Main had served as MD with the wholesale business since 2008. A statement issued by Alliance Healthcare said: “As managing director, Jeremy has made a significant contribution to the UK business, leading it through a transformative time for the industry.”

Mr Mount is a senior healthcare industry executive with lengthy experience in business transformation, sales, marketing and business excellence across Europe, Asia and the USA. He joined Walgreen Boots Alliance in 2016 as acting director of global pharma relationships, having previously held high-ranking positions at Pfizer and Alexion Pharmaceuticals.
